PostSubject: scooby powered bay.   Tue Aug 19, 2008 7:58 pm

i have been collection parts and selling parts, over the last couple of weeks and i had a day free so i thought i make a start..
twin fan rad with 2 stage fan
off a 205 gti ali corred

after a bit of chopping and re-arranging i managed to make the rad fit under the van

i still need to make a air scoop as the rad is going to get no air this way!
i may have ground clearance issues!!

now for my new toy

a bit of a clean

oh yeah and the worst bit off all. the loam lol!

tomorrow after work gear box out, and start taking the harnice off the loam.

yeah man, no worries. the rad will only go there ive trierd every where else. it wont go any hirer because of the twin fans above. i measured bits and i still think my anti roll bar on the front will be lower. + the subaru sumps are massive, so that will be pretty close to the floor!
the engine is a ej22 out of a 97 legacy done 78 000 miles. so it should be pretty sound.

fone died after this point. so more pics tomorrow.
also sprayed up the engine bay and cut out more of that beem that went across the front of the engine bay. also re fitted gear box with new bell housing to make sure it still fits, which it does. so tomorrow get my head around this new clutch relise bearing kit. then get it fitted with the clutch. then fit gear box to engine. and start on loam, and right a list if parts needed ie rad hose, fuel hose and all connectors.
