Sorry to hear about the pink machine, bet it made some lovely noises though!

Must be really annoying especially after all the hard work you both put into it!

Sad

Been busy removing the engine, and found that the flywheel wasn't loose! The clutch was all good too. So the gearbox and bell housing are all tip top! cheers
Problem seems to be, the crank is broken!!!! affraid affraid affraid
With the engine on the floor, the fly wheel is easy to turn and the pully doesn't move! No bounce

and it was still runnin but wouldn't get a gear they don't make like a vw any more lol!

I would, but, I binned the box a few weeks ago, and have no idea where the receipt would be...... It'll just look like an old knackered crank! Rolling Eyes
Might try just for a giggle next time I'm up there. Wink

I have a crank on my floor already out if you need one in a hurry........you can just replace it later dude afro

Thanks for the offer Harv. Like a Star @ heaven
I'm not in any hurry to rebuild that engine. The 1200 is running ok, so it'll wait till after the 66 is painted.

Got all the lights working as they should be again. And wired in a stereo..... While Rach was downloading some Beach boys, ready for Jambo! afro
