I was sweating like buggery when Mark was winding this over, I could just imagine it toppling over onto its side out of control.. that probably can't happen, but my imagination was doing overtime!

I can't wait to see this on the road Dude!

You might have to dude... I have a habit of doing one job and finding three more "while I'm at it" I know full well more will get done to the underside than just underseal tomorrow!

Still, "do it right - do it once" as the saying goes!

Some pics of the underside:

Today I am wire brushing then undersealing...

The little black patch in the picture is where Mark was showing me how to use the compressed air spray gun...

You need to drain the engine oil and the fuel tank.. not sure about the water on a water-cooled engine..

Carl, is that underseal ? It's ok but goes brittle with time, causing water to get behind and start rusting.

You would have been better off with a sealer more wax based, or more flexible when cured.

Just from experiance, over the years

yes, but not tetraseal, it's an equivalent made by 3M.... Thanks for the tip though, I'll definitely keep a really close eye on it!.... I usually get under it at least once every year at MOT time so will definitely be checking..

cheers chap......

Seriously speaking for a second, if anyone wants to use it, this will obviously have to be at the Howling Wolf Workshop, but assuming he has the space, then I'm sure it could be made available.. I know, its in Wales, but really, it's not that bad...!
