hi guys, thanks for the welcome. I will try to upload some pics of my "new" 1971 1300. Today i started prep for an MOT on Thursday coming which included the obligitory duct taping of hols on wings etc however two things have got me stumped.
1. the washer water is powered by the spare wheel presure and this was disconected when i got the car.so today i pumped up the tyre and filled the bottle with water. the water then come out all the time without pressing the button!!?
2.the horn is always on - the previous owner had disconected it

any ideas

cheers

the horn has a perm live at the push with an earth going through the columb, joined at the coupler and off to the horn, it may have shorted there somewhere (mine now works with a seperate push button on the dash)
