Hello folks.
Best introduce myself then.
Been into this VW malarky for years now and have had a few cars on and off.
Got this at the moment which ive had for about 7 years and is defintly a keeper. It was showing its age in a few places so was a case of either let it go or patch it up. After a long think i decided it deserved better so gave it a resto.

Its still the family camper and not a trailer queen but did win a couple of gongs on its first outing (DATC11) and also Best in Class at Vanfest this year. Still needs some work but dont they always. Im re doing the front seats and up dating a few other bits. Might be in a mag soon as the photos have been taken. (was in Camper and Bus about 3 years ago)

Also abit a of a Monkey Bike fan and have got a Yamaha Chappy that was a perfectly good runner and quite smart till i took it off the road a few months ago to tidy up................hopefully it will be on the road again come the spring in its new paint etc. Abit pissed off as the weather is holding and its a good little thing to nip about on.

Dont think ill be making any club meets as im down in Exeter, but will hopefully catch up with you lot at Vanwest or possibly VASW if your coming down.

Ahh, role up your sleeves and get stuck in!

I'l introduce you to a few.

Baja 69 - generally grumpy bastard, drives a LB, thinks it's better than an EB

Gungie - Sexual deviant and general all round pervert - don't mention 'The One We Don't Talk About ' or TOWDTA for short

nomates - knows his shit and has a lurvly ghia and a frid

Clockwork - drinks lots and can be easily lead astray

Mr Scoops - wears a daft hat in the sun and thinks he looks cool. He doesn't. You probably know him for EB.com anyway.

Wurz - I reckon he's named after the gummadge.. when you meet him you'll see why - a thoroughly nice chap though!

Joker 67 - Check out his resto thread on his red beetle. nuff said! the guy has done a mega job on that!

I can't go through everyone, of course, but these will no doubt be the main targets of any abuse, and will almost certainly be the senders! lol! lol!

And yes, that tis my bus..

you are almost right, i am a grumpy bastard but i dont think lates are better than earlies...
i know they are! but i do always admit to loving westy prototypes. but as long as its aircooled its fine by me
anyway, its not abuse its just banter

Don't forget Griff, he's Nomates plumbing apprentice.

And Clockwork, salesman to the Pikies.

ServetaPaul is a Scoot man, he's in to his tea, and is around 185 years old!

And for the record, I am well aware that my Brokeback straw hat is far from cool, in fact its probably the milinary equivalent of a Late Bay, however, I am willing to put up with this and to run the risk of attracting the odd arse pinch from randy plumbers to protect my folically challenged swede from the suns rays!

I'm on EB too. I was at Sandown on the stand last year on the Saturday and will be there next year for both days!
