| Thought I'd give you all a bit of an update so you know what's been going on beind the scenes. After contacting around about 70 different companies we have enough sponsors now to ensure the event will go ahead and that we are not going to need to touch any of the gate-money, in fact, we may have some left over that can be added to the money we take from people. We have The Old Dub Shop as our main sponsor, additionally we also have;- Status VW (who are also providing goodie-bags) VDub Resto Adrian Flux Warners Tyres Bridgwater VW I am just waiting to hear from Unity Farm, but I'm pretty sure they are on board too. Status may be coming down on the day to set up a small stand to distribute catalogues etc, also RetroDubs are hoping to come up from Cornwall to trade (subject to getting the traders license sorted). We also have a Split Screen Ice Cream van coming along and a girl with a Bay Window who sells Cheese on Toast. I'll give the fella from Autoglym a call in the next week to get him on board and to blag some prizes etc etc for the Show n Shine. I've got a great deal on the programmes this year, and have started writing it up. I had a meeting with the tee-shirt supplier last night and she's sorting out a sample for me to pick up for the next mid-monther. Sid is sorting the website, and Dirty Dave is doing the trophies for us again. Plymfest are coming along with their 'mobile race track' that's based in the back of a 30 foot truck to promote their event in return for tickets for the Show n Shine winners. I need to have a chat with Olly and also get in contact with the RNLI (the guy I normally deal with has changed his number but I've asked someone in the Weston crew for his details). I'm going to ensure there are plenty of collectors around for the afternoon as lots of people said they wanted to donate last year but couldn't find anyone to give the cash to. I have had my first quote in for extra toilets today, but at £1000 for 2 portable blocks I think I need to ask elsewhere!!! The Scooter Club are looking forward to helping us out with the directing of the traffic on the cruise itself. Just thought you'd like to know what has been happening folks....... _________________ If Bags are for Fags slap my ass and call me Sheila! |

| I got one of each colour tshirt last year, but hate the black one as the artwork sticker thing is crinkly and get right on my nerve, can you ask her not to do that style, for what ever reason the white one is fine?
(no I dont have anything against blacks!!) |

| Funnily enough Gunge, that's exactly what I went to see the tee shirt supplier about! A different type of transfer is used for dark shirts, however, she's got a new one to try that is much less 'crinkly'. I'll have one for the next mid monther. _________________ If Bags are for Fags slap my ass and call me Sheila! |

| I've contacted Brandon Hire to get some toilets down there too. I've got a price, but have to phone them back on Monday to see if he can press some other buttons on his calculator! _________________ If Bags are for Fags slap my ass and call me Sheila! |
