my bug is a 1972 gt delux

this is how she turned up

after day1 the body was off and the chassis was stripped and looked like this

on day2 i got round to cutting out the drivers side floor pan and putting in a brand new floor

on day 3 i got the passenger side floor pan cut out and new one put in plus bulk head repaired and chassis anti rust primmed

bug resto project Day3bothfloorpansantirustprimmed-1

day 4 the chassis is seam sealed and anti rust primmed all over

front beam has been repaired and painted

chassis has been painted black and front beam refitted and some other bits painted

its starting to look really nice now

set myself 6 months to have it completely finished but at this rate it will be finished long before that Very Happy

so here i am again doing a bit of an update

got another fair chunck done to the bug over the last week

both heater channels have been replaced
the central chassis support has been repaired
front inner wings have been repaired
bottom of the door pillars have been repaired
early rear panel has been put in
and early rear wing have been put on but decided to smooth them in so they have been welded instead of being bolted
