I'm with carl ........any vauxhall GTE back in the day when my mates had tham ..were always being mended , along with the maestro turbo's ......

and to be honest i don't care If they are 3mph faster .....if they look like that ,I'd rather be late !

and that white one scoops posted .....white ,with white wheels and white indicator lenses ......is it owned by a bloke with an open shirt wearing a medallion?........it sucks

FORD FTW

ha ha.......the victor dont compare with a mk1 scort carl..........but a 2.3 chevette HSR would.......they are about 5K to buy not the ridiculous price that mk1/2 scorts make these days......proper independant rear suspension not something off constables haywayne cart! lol

and the montego/maestro turbo makes the same bhp at the wheels as an escort turbo does at the flywheel!

example of GM over ford.......mk2 cavalier 1600 on a shitty pierburg carb makes nearly same power figures as a 2,0 pinto does on a twin choke webber!

i think your either a ford person or a vauxhall guy......ive had lots of both......have had equal trouble with both......as for reliability...bout the same

lol! that fella didn't look as if he had ever shaved in his entire life!

I think the car must have done it to him, aged him, like all the time it must have spent under the spanner while he hitchhiked to work!

I think he was moses or noah, noah's ride was prob more reliable lol!

griff.....do you know what chevette's are woirth these days?? lol

bit like the more obscure vw models majority thought they were crap or quirky design made people not buy them 30/40 years later everybody wants them because their different Rolling Eyes

but in vauxhalls case thats because they were shit when new and nobody with any sense kept one, best thing for them is to be recycled into beer tins sunny
