| hey mate.. they sound loverly! (when you block out the exhaust!) SCAT SHIFTER = no gears... all of a sudden..?! weird, can't get any gears at the mo. popped original sloppy shifter back on for a bit till I have so patience! |

| Got the Van back tonight. shifter sh*t but not a single drop of oil under that engine!!!!!! at last!! just got to run it in now and then get a tune up.  |

| Van all sorted at last... i hope! first problem, was the distributer cap not on right, and timing out/mixture etc. booked into Interpro at Thornbury to get rolling roaded on Friday. 2nd problem: battery got drained in under 6hrs when engine off (and no lights left on before you ask!) 2 batteries later and all the wiring checked etc.. Turns out to be a wire plugged into the regulator that shouldn't of been, causing a permanent drain on the batt. This screwed up the charge circuit big time! So now happy and back on the road! |
