Fitted rest of stereo over the weekend, and managed to blow my indicator relay..?

Tried to fit new Scat Dragfast shifter, only to discover the original bolts are too short, so sort that out this week sometime.

Only got a few things left to do for BVF:

gearshift
reverse light
dual charge system

under seat carpet
indicator relay
look at sliding door track as a bit bumpy
replace rear sliding door roller
sort accelerator and tick over
T-Cut and polish

so not much left really!

bounce

PostSubject: New Engine   Sun Apr 05, 2009 10:11 pm

Engine died last week. Sad

Had enough of the Volkspares... Evil or Very Mad

so booked into Classy Campers for a new one.

1910 type 4 from the engine shop (fast road cam) with twin empi hmpx 40's

should give a better performance on the top end now & the turbo thomas exhaust will bolt straight in and is more suited to the engine this time! bounce

so will soon have some twin Weber ICT 34 type 4 carbs up for sale Wink

Should all be done just in time for CTTP..

check on the engine, i belive that the engine shop, supply volkspares there engines now, as it used to be part of the same company.

all the adverts in the mag are the same as volkspares.

Thanks for the heads up Andy. Did a fair bit of research and phone calls as advert / coloured engines look the same as volkspares.

vzi link: http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=459427&page=3

Rang them up and spoke to Jim - all engines are built to order - and will build to your spec - heads etc. Seem very sound and all guaranteed.

so hopefully will be fine.

Engine should arrive at Classy Campers by the end of the week!

Still being built...
Damm easter holidays, always delay things.

At least it's meant the tinwear can be blasted/cleaned and resprayed in a nice satin black..

Carbs arrived, sitting in a box waiting..haven't even managed to see them yet..

..

..

So will get some pics up when things start to happen!
