| Deadline to complete it by is 19th April (might make CTTP) Here's a few pics of progress. more has been done since, but forgot to take camera with me. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=32610&l=50b24&id=571507096left to do: entire Front panel to convert to lowlight windscreen inner repair both corners front arches outer left and right inner front arches left and right cab floor drivers side sills inner and outersill under sliding door and runner rear lower quarters left and right battery trays left and right rear outer valance an inner repair rear outer arches left and right fuel tank area fuel tank fittings CV boots lower rear by 1 more spline shorten exhaust by 3 inches (Dave..can you weld stainless (tig) .?) prep for paint paint shell paint poptop refit engine and tank refit electrics refit all seals refit glass fit new seats interior mot so not too much then! |

| Are you putting that plywood back into the roof? Can yo measure it for me before you do? How thich is it as well? Does it self support by being rammed into the inner gutters? ... loving the resto so far.  _________________ I dont re read threads if you want me/a reply then pls PM me & I'll get back eventually

| got to sand that down this weekend, so will measure it for you - or your welcome to come and take a template off from it. it's in three sections and slots into an alu strip each side which is pot rivited to the top of the window frames/roof join. it is supported by a few screws in the centre section and a plastic joining strip. will also be sorting through the garage to see what I need to buy and sell to complete the project... A list will go up soonish.. so far.. sell: Late bay bumpers front and back |

| Update. Have now got 2 solid weeks to spend on finishing van. Bought some new bits also: Scat dragfast shifter Blue dot clear headlamps new bulbs all round. rear bumper and mounts front seat belts front quarterlight frames etc.. Doing CV joints tomoz and steering idler pin, then finish the rest of the welding afterlunch! will keep this updated as much as poss. Cheers all.  |

| just bought front bumper on ebay..rust free inc rubbers, brackets £123 inc delivery! nice! final bits to arrive from Justin at retrodubs now on tues so I can finish off the project!  |

| hi all, The list is getting shorter!. had a really productive 2 weeks on the van. all that's left is to prep outer shell for some paint. | update: lots of stuff done! all metalwork done etc.. engines all in. filled and sanded and filled and sanded some more! roof off and roof-rack cleaned and sanded lots. body in undercoat and shut edges sprayed and bits of interior... bumpers and roof all sprayed and ready. here's a couple of pics: sorry about the quality..     |

| going to be Dove Blue all over (inside and out) and then poptop/roofrack and bumpers are pearl white...(bumpers are done in pic) hopefully get some more pics sent back up soonish. if not, then at the weekend. should be back on the road next week after 2 years!!!  |
