| nearly done. was on the rolling road today. I wasn't there so no pics... they're replacing the accelerator cable for a better one in the morning and it needs a hex stud between the bottom of the connecting rod and the carb.(brings out the connecting rod inline with the linkage arm). all should be done then. will get all the readings when I collect the van.(only up to 4000rpm) got to do at least another 1500miles on the engine, then back in for final tune and power runs |

| forgot to mention ....the outlets are smooth and quite short ....where the hose goes on to the rocker covers ......if you buy two bolts with the same thread as the suppied nuts .....I can turn them down on the lathe and you can cut them to whatever length you feel if safe . _________________ Nomates ........the Rev and gordo ....me bro'.....turning prefectly good beer into piss, since 1990

| I pushed the hose over the thread and them did up the clamps. will keep a close eye on it for a while. you can take a look at them if you want. always nice to have another pair of eyes to see if I made any obvious mistakes. |

| they look fine dude ....it was an observation I had when doing the ghia 's engine .....I could pull them off ....so I made longer outlets ....it may have been cos of the angle of the hose ....you probably have more space in your engine bay _________________ Nomates ........the Rev and gordo ....me bro'.....turning prefectly good beer into piss, since 1990

| Still got the engine noise. So going to Interpro.. hopefully nothing serious... if it is, then engine out and back to TES along with a refund demand!! I reckon I've spent double the value of the engine on the engine!! So then I my look for some alternative power Anyhow, been having an odd suspension noise for a bit. sorted it today, shock to tower bolt was loose arrgghh! |

| Engine noise is a kinda tapping/knocking in time with the revolutions. (Speeds up and slows down). May be rockers.... or fan catching the housing slightly... or something else....? Tis louder when engine is first started up from cold... |

| Dropped off van at Interpro today. Being tuned on Monday. Took 2hrs to get there mind, stupid bridge road works. Also, the front rattle had returned.. Shock top bolt had worked loose again. cleaned it, put on a washer and spring washer to help keep the nut tight. AND.... front hub had some sideways movement.... so adjusted the clamp nut on the spindle by 1/4 turn, all fixed! |
