I like 02's........a really understated model.......I remember one in Volksworld. White paint and lowered. Really subtle. It was bloody lovely.

She's home now!!

Massive Thanks to Steve(nomates) and the Pikey's transit lol!

Steve's reversing skills with a trailer are legendary affraid lol!

She don't look to bad thought i might be able to do a fairly easy rebuild and refit

Sits fairly low already

Lit'un has decided it's her beetle and had to have photo wiv 'her car' but start um young eh lol!

Thought i'd get her in the workshop so i could get all the extra that came with her away and empty out everything that had been loaded into her.

Got her emptied out and in the workshop so decided to have a poke around it!!

Theres good bits and bad bits

Good bits new lowered beam and disc brakes framhead looks solid, 2 good interiors and loads of other new bits waiting to go on

pg[/IMG]

Under seat looks good

Bad bits, took N/S wings off bad repair to front and rear quarters and rear arch rotten out

Poor quality repairs to rear of floor pans

Gonna get the interior out, strip carpets and take off O/S wings next......
Think body will be coming off so it can be done properly Cool

Got another couple of hours on her today so stripped O/S wings off to see what had been hidden on that side

Front inner arch replacement is a bodge up same as near side so will have to come off and be redone Mad

Repairs need to be made to heater channel where it mets front arch

Bottom edge of rear quarter looked good but turned out that the bottom edge was fiberglass

And previous repairs to heater channel closing panel still atached to floor pan, but closing panels have been replaced Surprised

rear corner has had a bad repair to quarter panel to in arch, plate has been put in but there are atill big holes around it and lots of filler affraid

Haven't gone much further just took glass out screen surrounds are all good and rear cargo area carpeting, and the firewall is good Cool

But did find find filler in the rain gutters so dug it out to find the were rotten but repairable

Looks like whoever done the work was a master at seam sealer/filler/fibreglass welding lol!
