Heres some pics of the N/S..











Got cracking on the O/S inner arch, thats cut out and repair panels made, welding in and ground back.
Rear quarter cut out for the outer arch to fit rear quarter also cleaned up..





Just got to do the rear section of the chassis so i've cut a section of the rear panel put and the inner quarter to gain access to the chassis ready for repair..

Not planning on selling it at the mo, gonna give it to Frizz to beat around in to see if she likes it.. Not sure if she will though after driving the scort for a year with pas aircon and the other stuff shes got in it..

But we'll see... It's not really any good for us only being a 4 seater..

Don't think i'll be getting too much done the weekend, could be feeling a bit worse for wear..

Well i got out the workshop this morning and got on with the N/S outer arch..
Drill the lip and cleaned up the edges.. Clamped it in to place and welded it on.
Ground and sanded back the welds then added a skim of filler..

Well i've dropped the rear beam out so i could inspect the chassis.. Someone had welded plates from the chassis to the beam mounts good job the welds weren't great and just fell off..
The side i thought was bad isn't really that bad at all just the axel mount and a little hole.. Bonus..
But the side that i thought was good is completely shot to bits from the back panel to in front of the back arch so the complete section..

Found a hole in the drivers floor next to the sill..
Both sills have had some kind of repairs done to them that have rotted through..


May be i should get the front end up in the air and give that a good checking before i go any further..

The chassis section should be ordered tomorrow might have to roll her on her side onto a mattress to make life easier though..

It was pretty well hidden under all the VW sealer ect..

Gonna get the front end up tonight and see how bad that is before i go any furter.. If it's too bad i think i'll just break it..
