I dunno dude.........you hit a pothole or the like a lot of force is put up through those shockers.
Better to check it out and find out that I am an over-zealous plum andn they aren't needed than to not and the bloody towers to fracture.......

they absorb shock ......if they were to bottom out I would agree ......don't get me wrong you are 100 precent right ...but I don't think they will cause a problem, a radii would be a better design tho

Just been told by Joker67b that the landlord had driven into the front of my car with a tractor!!

Just going to look at the damage!!

I tried so hard to save that front panel!!

Gutted!!

I hoped joker67 way pulling my leg, but sadly not!! All my hard work at the weekend has been wasted!!

I got there to find that the froint panel I so carefully drilled out to save was like this:



The nice repair to the inner wheel well was like this:




and the inner wing front was like this!




The near side that Ihadnt started was looking like this!!


It's going to take me ages to get back where I was!! I felt sick when I saw it.

I shouldnt have to!! we rent the unit, we were given the space to work in, he hasnt even given me a call to tell me about the damage!! I know acidents will happen, but Im just a bit pissed off right now!!

Yeah!! lol I wish my bonnet was, it doesnt fit anyway!! It might have been an advantage!! lol I could have tried to get him to cough up for another one!!.

luckly, joker was a very good panel beater and thinks he can get most of it back out!! I just feel like Im banging my head against a brick wall. I was so proud of what I did last weekend, now I have to start again!!
