PostSubject: Re: Gungeys resto thread official!!   Sat Oct 24, 2009 7:04 pm

Been working on the bug on the odd night in the week and spent 5 hours out there today.

Doesnt look like Ive done much but working very hard on it.

Huge thanks to all the Help Joker67 has been showing me how to do things.

I finished grinding down the wields for the front clip and the tidying up on both sides to prep for filler

Wielded on my horn bracket

made a small plate for the bottom of the door pillar

Shorty put the fillar in the front quarter panel, then showed me his special technic for shaping and sanding.

before

after

I had a go on the inner wings where I had wielded and someone had in the past

I then went back out today and had a go unsupervised!!

underneath the bonnect both sides

Both inner wings, filling sanding, filling sanding!! I dont know if I have the strength to masterbate tonight!!

Like I said, Ive worked really hard and it looks like Ive donew bugger all!! lol

Looks great dude, you're really cracking on with it now. Does it need this much work at the rear end as well or will it soon be all over and driveable?

rear end should be minimal as the legend that is dirty dave, carried out a lot of work before we got the unit, but more work on the floor pan still to commence
