Hi, i'm the "LUCKY" fella who bought Ruby from Gem and Sam!!!! It was cool reading about her history in the Resto Thread, hard to believe how far she has come since then!!! (and how much dosh i have spent!!! )
The Garage has pretty much been my 2nd home for the last 16 months!!!! Lots of Work Needed!!
Hopefully not to long now til she takes to the road once again!!
I've renamed her "Bugsie" as since the resto She dosen't look much like a Ruby anymore!!

Thanks alot, it's been Hard work but i'm quite happy with the way she is coming along!!
Hopefully be able to take her on her 1st road test tommorrow after the engine is tuned, fingers crossed!!!
1st dub ive owned and 1st aircooled engine ive built so hopefully will drive nice!! Or just Drive would be good!!!

hi, just a quick update on the Bug, bad news the car still not running!!! A slight problem with the Carb!! Hopefully will replace it with another that i have aquired and that should do the job!! so no test drive this weekend!!
Thinking of insuring bugsie soon, who are the best insurers for classic motors??? Tried Performance Direct they gave me a quote of £125 fully comp!! which dint seem to bad, any other suggestions of companies to try would be gratefully received!!!
Still waiting for activation of account but hopefully soon
