Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know where i can find a T4 AAB 2.4 5 cylinder engine, or bottom end or 5 good pistons???

I'm looking for some help to get my van back on the road. I've been searching for an engine, or the bits to fix mine, for the last 12 months and I'm at my wits end after being messed about and ripped off so many times. I'm completely at a loss now as I've searched the internet and tried so many garages/forums/private sellers, even ebay, and each time it either turns out to be a waste of time, or the people selling the stuff are lying about what they have or the condition of it.

If anyone knows of anyone who can help or anywhere that might be able to help (I live near Bridgwater but am willing to travel anywhere!) please, please, please get in touch.

i take it its the diesel 2.4?

not to sure where you might get one it depends on where you have already tried i assume that you have tried www.vwt4forum.co.uk? i also assume that you would prefer a 2.4 replacement as for easy of replacing or would you consider a 2.5 tdi or 1.9td?

Hi Mike..

There's a 2.4D complete engine at the scrap yard on Taunton road in bridgwater..
They've removed it for someone who said they wanted it, but never turn up think they want £125 for it..
If you go down there ask to speak to Neil and say Rich curtis sent you down...
