5 (a)

Find the parametric vector equation of the line passing through the points A(1, 3, -2) and B(2, -1, 6) in terms of parameter u, Such that u = -2 at A and u = 4 at B.

(b)
Eliminate the parameter from the vector equation:

r(u) = 3ui + u^2j
to get the Cartesian form of the curve.


I have a lot of work to do to be able to do questions like this, luckily im allowed to take in to the exam whatever i want so long as i have the right equations with some examples of how to use them and i use my maths correctly then i dont see me failing at this point in time Very Happy

Nahhh, just books and stuff.

In gonna write up some stuff, so that i have all the equations i need and how to use them etc

65% entitles me to 13% of my overal grade so im well chuffed, i only need 40% overall to actually pass the module

Very true unless you have spent all your money, hehehe so far i have managed to be a student at least a couple of times, but i just dont fancy the going out to be honest, did all that last year, so this year im trying to be more responsible, i keep the house clean, keep on top of work, wash my own clothes, etc...
