I bought Ron, a 1964 1200 deluxe sedan with a genuine 46'000 miles earlier this year.

When I bought him I decided that I would run him for the show season, then if I decided to keep him he'd get a resto over the winter ready for next year.

I had to sort out a few things with him ( Lowered with a 5" narrowed beam, wheels, rack and a few bits and bobs ) so I was happy to use him this year.

This is how he looked when I bought him.

We stayed at our friend's house and whilst looking at Ebay I stumbled across a 58 Beetle in Dandenong, Melbourne. The advert described the Beetle as solid and running, but rough. The Auction was to finish in a couple of days and we knew ...

K.A.T. - The latest toy! And yes she is again a water pumper (two water pumps infact to be precise)

The Introduction

Firstly this may upset a few peeps on here, but as ive been told the words 'Der Blitzen Sphincters' translates to something like 'flaming asses?' Could be wrong but anyway i am expecting HUGE flames from the ass of this b!tch when she's finished.

The Aim

The Aim for K.A.T is bordering the 400bhp mark, (depending on what ECU i use)

The principle is easy, ...

Not a full on resto but progress with the old dog

As I got her riding high with a blown head gasket

She needs some work but the first thing was to get her to my mates workshop and get the headgasket sorted

Not cheap on parts but shes all sorted now and sounds great

Still gotta sort the exhaust out though

The drive home from the workshop was a bit of and eyeopener, she's a proper boat in the corners might be something o do with the 4x4 ride height

Just over a year ago, I bought an aussie import bay. Then I sold the Baja to help finance it! Due to having next to zero free time I decided against doing any work myself. It has been in Classy Campers since March and after going way over budget and a couple of months late, it has finally been painted! They have done a first rate job and I'm really pleased with the new colour scheme. The van still needs refitting and the race is on to get it ready for dubs at the castle. I will post some pics ...

Well, I have got the Notch in with Classy Campers to get that bloody drivers side door resprayed. It was the one thing about the car that really bothered me, whilst it was in there I decided to have a good poke around and sort out anything else that may have needed doing. The sills were looking a bit crusty so they are going to get a looking at, as well as some bubbles on both doors.

Here she is......................getting naked, ready for a rub down!!
