| if there is room go all vw (within reason i don't want to look at bog standard 6 year old passat's, lupo's etc. i will go to tesco's car park to see that sort of crap) if the weather turns out poo it is all money in the pot. and if it is good you have the extra lawn, and delelgate parking marshalls to make sure people park sensibly. may be stating that if they want to park together, to arrive together. _________________ ..

| liking the pre book idea. First 500 get on the lawn as last year, everyone else fights for the other lawn. Maybe adding a £3 donation per car with the pre book to guarantee a place. That way if someone with a '85 Skoda Rapide tries to pre book, you can stall untill we've sold out. Sayng that....... Murph will hopefully be mostly the same colour next year so please can we come......... _________________ gabba gabba we accept you, we accept you, one of us.

| Because it would take a LOT of work both before hand and on the day, plus I reckon you would get a lot of people turning up on the day saying they didn't know and get ratty when they don't get it. Just my opinion..... _________________ |

| as long as you put the word out about prebook i think you would have alot less problems then you did this yr .. and stresses wouldnt run so high on the day with a little bit more work before hand ... this is just my opinion of cause ..just see what others think.. there is enough members on here i think to help with the work load that would be willing to help im sure ....to make life that little bit easier ... luv becks xxxxxxxxx |

| Not everyone has the net, and would therefore not know anything about pre book. I know a few old school dubbers who this would apply to. _________________ I dont re read threads if you want me/a reply then pls PM me & I'll get back eventually

| I think it would be far easier getting people to commit to £3 donation in advance rather than £30 for a weekend! Especially with the weather, £3 or £5 you could write off, I don't buy weekend tickets because I never know if I am working, but the donation I would do just in case. I also understand that not everyone has the net, so include it in the advertising from the outset. There is nothing to stop the members running the convoy from selling any spares on the day, or at the lawns. I think it will also help if you want traders or food or entertainment, if you can say; well we've got 200 pre-booked....... it's a good bartering tool. just a thought, don't want to tread on any toes. I will help as much as I can whatever happens. i just wish it was before my mot date instead of the weekend after. fingers crossed already. _________________ gabba gabba we accept you, we accept you, one of us.

| i am with scoops on the pre booking idea i saw some of the agro scoops was getting last year and i think there could be a whole heap of poo if we had prebooking as loads just wouldnt bother then turn up expecting to get on to the lawns someone says "no sorry you arent per booked so you cant come on" but theres half the lawns empty people are goind to be pi$$ed off real fast! lets just try to make things as easy as possible to run on the day and not make problems for ourselves _________________ "a chicken in every pot and a cap in every ass"
